Last week, the Legislature formally adopted the new State budget for 2018-2019. While there is historic funding for a number of programs including the Environmental Protection Fund and the Farm to School program, a number of NYLCV priorities remained unfunded.

According to the group, missed opportunities included the Food Recovery & Recycling Act, Congestion Pricing, Reducing Single-Use Bag Waste, Empire Forests for the Future Initiative, and Farmland Preservation.
